On July 23rd, we hosted our YBI Day of Giving, and we are truly grateful for everyone who made it a success. Whether you were a friend, sponsor, partner, or organization, your participation and generosity made a real impact.

Because of your support, we are able to continue empowering youth through programs that foster leadership, business development, and personal growth. Thank you for standing with us and helping to make a difference in the lives of young people in our community!

🟦 Workplace Youth Employment Program Wrap-Up

The Workplace Youth Employment Program has officially come to a close. This summer, participants played a key role in helping coordinate our programs and ensuring everything ran smoothly. They assisted Dajuan with various tasks, supported Yakeem’s Business Development Program as digital marketing assistants, and contributed their skills wherever needed. We are proud of their professionalism, dedication, and teamwork!

🟩 Workplace Workforce Development Program Conclusion

On August 8th, we wrapped up the Workplace Workforce Development Program. Over the course of the program, participants built strong resumes and cover letters, learned how to write a check, and developed smart budgeting skills. They also benefited from guest speakers who visited once or twice a week to share insights on mental health and overall well-being. Congratulations to all who completed the program!

🟨 Summer Mayor’s Youth Program Completed

The Summer Mayor’s Youth Program has wrapped up after another impactful season. Youth participants served as digital marketing assistants, helping to create a website, manage social media, and produce podcasts for thebestsoccer.com. Their creativity and technical skills made a lasting contribution, and their work will continue to be seen by the community well beyond the summer.

The Best Soccer Podcast Is Coming Soon!

We’re excited to announce that YBI is expanding into youth sports storytelling through The Best Soccer — a brand-new initiative powered by our students and young athletes.

Our team is currently filming the first episodes of the podcast, which will feature real voices from the field, inspiring local stories, and conversations that matter to today’s youth.

This project is more than just about soccer — it’s about using sports as a platform to connect, educate, and uplift. Stay tuned for our official launch… exciting things are just getting started!
